The 21st century (2000-2100) or 2001 – 2099) is a period being associated with breakthrough in technological innovations and scientific discoveries. Most world civilizations had experienced renaissance at one epoch or the other. Constant to remember were the 14th – 17th centuries, a period when Europe saw the emergence of federated European nations that became interested in the ideas and culture of ancient Greece and Rome. These influenced them greatly in their works of art, literature, etc.
Renaissance is all about “a situation when there is new interest in a particular subject, form of art, etc after a period when it was not very popular”. Renaissance or revival emphasizes or stresses – rebirth (new life) re-birthing or (controlled breathing) psychotherapy or (being born) by way of discussion to treat an illness (mental) without drugs or by conscientizing the people via dialogue.
It is timely to retail or dwell on this aching issue and to propound a concept, a theory, a philosophy, known as “Wanuism”, just like Charles Darwin first did for the theory of natural selection or Naturalism. “Wanuism = Wanu, i ya pye”, is a moving spirit. The ‘ism’, that is a suffix to ‘‘Wanu’’, is used here to refer to a set of ideas or system of beliefs or behaviour to educate and propagate this intrinsic instinct of rediscovery and self actualization of the Wanu people worldwide. “Wanu” Nation stands to profit a lot by embracing isolationism. Building “Wanuism”, which is the concept, the idea, the belief the theory, the philosophy, is our collective effort and interest to move “Wanu” forward-“i ya pye”, which is the motto, our nucleus, – is the ultimate.
This reawakening, is a pull-crowd call, a clarion call for all sons and daughters of the various super clans, their scholarship, their professional callings in their tireless determination to move “Wanu” forward. This renaissance is to rekindle these feelings and hopes of this race – ‘‘Wanu’’ or ‘‘Awanu’’, that had for quite some time (now) been in comatose, or an epileptic sorry sight to behold. No matter your position, your status; these are mere appendages. Do not be consumed in the euphoria of this tabernacle. It is nothing but a transient tent, a make shift, a lapa, which euphemistically shall all pass away some day. Identify with your DNA (‘deoxyribonucleic acid’), which is traceable to “Wanu’’ blood connect. Let that flame glow, the beam of ‘‘Wanu’’ glory radiate and transfigure your wholesome personality and live proudly, truly “Wanu”. As you are splendidly packaged as a ‘take away’ Omena stuffs in “Wanuism = i ya pye”, leads the way to your Eldorado. So claim it.
In this renaissance, the “i ya pye” sailing boat has the capacity of carry all, on board “Wanuism”. “Wanuism” shall not die, and must not be left to die. Nurse it, nurture it to adulthood till the end of times. Donot allow the ship of “i ya pye”, conveying the “Wanu” people to ship water. As sailors, the people shall experience no ship wreck off, no matter the tempestous seas. The rebirth, this renaissance shall delve into and promote, salient issues, such as: education, politics, culture, religious harmony and tolerance, unity, feminism, unionism, entrepreneurship ethical issues or ethos, welfare or well-being etc. This rebirthing shall sprout up legions of “Wanu” people who are truly committed in the spirit of “Wanuism” of the “i ya pye”, struggle. Do not be a scunge, a mischief maker, a peace shooter, a sellout by conniving with an enemy, but be a trouble shooter, a peace maker, a promoter of “Wanu” dreams of “Wanusim” = “i ya pye”. For Wanu people to succeed they must first of all fight the enemy within. Who is this “enemy within?”. The “enemy within” in this context, is that “Wanu” person that has created comfort for himself/herself outside the comfort zone of the entire “Wanu” Nation. By this, such a person is a always traitor, a betrayal and is always seen romancing with the enemy. Today such a person is a disgrace to even their biological parents who stood for justice and died as fighters for the redemption of “Wanu” race. Do not rock the boat; but rock solid.
This is my ululation for the “Wanuism” “i ya pye” in “Wanu” Nation.
God, save your people and their Nation. Amen
