The two weeks war in Ukraine as a result of invasion by Russia may soon come to an end.
This follows a declaration by the influential spiritual leader, His Holiness Olumba Olumba Obu of the Brotherhood of the Cross and Star at his world headquarters in Calabar, Cross River State.
Addressing mammoth crowds of adherents, guests and worshippers in his homily, Obu said the Almighty Father has now intervened in the war and the hard-line Russian President Vladimir Putin will now begin to talk peace, aimed at ending the invasion.
The spiritual leader whose words are always believed to be efficacious and respected by world leaders, said: “It is no longer war! War, War! There is now peace in Ukraine. Even Putin himself will begin to talk Peace with Ukraine…”
He emphasised that global peace and unity are not negotiable as the task to make the whole world one is a task that must be done.
It would be recalled that the European Union and most Western powers have initiated arrays of economic sanctions against Russia following its refusal to adhere to global calls to halt his massive bombardment of Ukraine. UN General Assembly, too, had also called on Russia to withdraw its forces from Ukraine to no avail.
