Bauchi state Governor Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed alongside his Sokoto state counterpart Aminu Waziri Tambuwal and former President of the Senate Bukola Saraki have accused the ruling All Progressives Congress APC of failing to give Nigerians good governance.

The Trio who meet in Bauchi said the country is in a sorry state and at the verge of collapsing economically, politically and socially.

Speaking to news men shortly after a close door meeting, Senator Bukola Saraki said the meeting deliberated on consensus candidate among northern aspirants vying for the position of the president.

According to him, producing a formidable candidate from the north through consensus is the right option in order to make it easy for the party ahead of the 2023 presidential election.

They also announced that they will brief former Vice president Atiku Abubakar and others who have indicated interest to contest the presidency on their positions.

Saraki added that the PDP is strong and united to dislodge the APC misrule which has crippled the country.
