NYSC members in Bogoro LG to construct signposts as community development projects

NYSC members with the Village Head of Boi

Members of the National Youths Service Corps (NYSC) serving in Bogoro Local Government Area of Bauchi State are set to erect two signboards as part of their monthly community development efforts.
The NYSC members disclosed this when they paid a courtesy visit to the traditional ruler of Boi, Ruh Mah Yah, Mr, Bala Ibrahim Likita over the weekend.
Mr Inobóng Obot Udeme who led the delegation said that the two signboards are part of the NYSÇ community development effort designed to guide strangers who are visiting the area for the first time.
According to him, “I want to inform you that the we have planned to carry out three major projects but we prioritize the construction of the two signboards to help strangers easily move around the community”
He added that, “We are glad for the support NYSC received from the LGA and members of the public in Boi community. And we are here to inform you and your people that the construction of two signboards have been completed and are billed to be commissioned on Friday by the LGA authority”
Obot Udeme appreciate the moral and financial contributions received from well spirited individuals in the area thereby making the project a reality.
“We are sincerely grateful for your support and NYSC look forward for more support from every member of your community. Thank you for all your kindness”, he concluded.
In response, the village head of Boi, Mr. Bala Ibrahim expressed delight for the gesture and promise to work with NYSC.
The traditional ruler said that, “I have informed members of the community particularly the BPA and stakeholders of my community about your voluntary work and they will give you the necessary support” .
He assured the NYSC members and all other agencies serving in the area of a friendly atmosphere adding that Nigeria is bigger than any individual or group of people urging them to feel at home on Bogoro as contained in a statement by Gomna James, Information officerBogoro LGA.
