Professor Kalatepwa Farauta

Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has dumped his deputy Crowther Seth and went for the female Vice Chancellor of Adamawa State University, Mubi, Professor Kalatepwa Farauta has his running mate in next year’s governorship election.
The Director General, Media and Communications to Governor Fintiri, Mr. Solomon Kumanga confirmed the development.
“Yes, it is true my principal has picked Professor Kelatapwa Farauta as running mate for the 2023 governorship election.
“This is not rumour but true that my boss Gov. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has dropped his deputy governor Crowther Seth and prefers a female university Don, Professor Kaletapwa Farauta a VC of Adamawa state university Mubi.
Prof. Farauta was until her appointment as VC of Adamawa State University was a Commissioner of Education when Ahamdu Umuru Fintiri was the acting Governor.
She also served as the Executive chairman of Universal Basic Education in Adamawa before her appointment as Commissioner of Education.
The Professor hails from Numan while the present Deputy Governor is from Lamurde local government area all of Numan federation.
In a similar development, the All Progressive Congress APC gubernatorial flag bearer, Aishatu Dahiru Ahmed (Binani) has also picked Hon. Titsi Ganama as her running mate for the 2023 governorship election in Adamawa.
Titsi Ganama, a former House of Representatives member hails from the Northern senatorial zone same zone with Governor Fintiri.
