Gombe Police boss charges new constables to be dedicated, diligent, smart, patriotic

The Commissioner of Police Gombe State Command,  Ishola B. Babaita has urged the newly passed out Police Constables in the Command to be dedicated, diligent, smart and Patriotic to Serve their Father land. 

The CP told them that  they will be posted back to their  respective Local Government Areas for police duties, emphasizing that the bed-rock of policing is discipline while success as  Police officers depend on the quality of disciplining and professionalism exhibited.

Ishola Babaita was addressing the new Constables at the State Headquarters Gombe pointing out that they were selected from across the 11 Local Government Areas of Gombe State where they are going back to. 

He said that the officers who have undergone Six months intensive and rigorous training in basic, intermediate and advanced Police studies, have been equipped with the requisite knowledge, appropriate skills and right attitude to make them effective in the discharge of their duties and meet up with the challenges of contemporary policing. 

The Commissioner of Police then  congratulated all the Newly Police Constables for their successful passing out parade from Various Police Colleges across the Country.

It will be recalled that the Nigeria Police Force on Wednesday passed out a total of 532 Police Constables who were 2020 intake of 10,000 Police  recruits from the Police Training School, Bauchi out of the 9,989 recruits that passed out from 16 Training Colleges across the Nation. 

Ishola Babaita said that this is possible due to the relentless effort of the Inspector General of Police IGP Usman Alkali Baba in fulfilling the presidential Directives on Approval of Recruitment of 10,000 Police Constables annually as contained in a statement by ASP. Mahid Mu’azu Abubakar, Police Public Relations Officer.
