Adamawa House of Assembly Majority Leader dumps PDP for NNPP

By Joseph Adahnu, YolaMajority leader in Adamawa State House of Assembly, Hammatukur Yattasuri, has denounced his membership with the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) in the state.
Yattasuri, who spoke newsmen at a ceremony in Lelewa Motel in Yola, declared that he has joined the NNPP to serve his people better.
The majority leader pledged to bring more dividends of democracy to the people of his constituency if elected into the House of Representatives in 2023.
Speaking, the NNPPs Secretary in the North-East, Hamman Ribadu, who was also at the forum, described the lawmakers defection as a big catch for the party.
That Yattasuri joined the party at the right time. Also Alhaji Saidu Salmana, the Chairman, Jada local government chapter of NNPP described Yattasuri as an honest man who has good character and mass follower ship.
He commended him for joining the party, saying he took the right decision so as to bring more dividend of democracy to the people of constituency.
