Alhaji Atiku Abubakar

The hearing in the suit against the People Democratic Party (PDP) Presidential Candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar by National Deputy Youth Leader of Nigerians continuity and Progressive (NCP), Dr. Lawal S. Ismaila comes up at the Federal High Court 27, Maitama, Abuja on Wednesday.
Among the claimants is Ichado Samson and members of the Nigeria Continuity and Progressive against Alhaji Atiku and Dr. Nat Yaduma.
In a suit No CV/20/63/2020, Dr. Ismaila and others are claiming non-payment of N500 million for work done when he was engaged as Director of Atiku campaign organization from 2018 till the conduct of the presidential election in February 2019.
The claimants averred that Atiku violated the contract entered into failed, refused or neglected to pay their entitlements.
According to the claimants’ joint statement of claim, they are requesting on order by the court to award to them N500 Million in their favour being unpaid contract sum entitled to since February, 2019.
Prior to the 2019 presidential election, Dr. Ismaila and his organization were approached by Atiku organization through Dr. Yaduma requesting them and their organization to use their network offices and membership for good sensitization and campaign for good fortunes of Atiku at the presidential election of February, 2019.
At the time of the 2019 election, Atiku appealed to the claimants and his member to be patient with him and he will ask Dr. Yaduma to deliver the payment to the bank account of the NCP but was never done.
