As the 2021/22 Nigeria Professional Football League Season#npfl21/22 climaxes on Sunday July 17, 2022 with matches across the country coming up simultaneously, Wikki Tourists FC, Bauchi will welcome its Northern side, Katsina United in what appears to be one of the Star games of the day.
The Wikki Tourists players Saturday morning had their last shake up for the game with Coach Kabiru Dogo fully in charge psyching up the boys to rise up to the occasion.
In a chat with Wikki Tourists FC Media after the light exercise, Kabiru Dogo said that nothing short of victory should be expected from his team conspiring the importance attached to the match.
In his words, Kabiru Dogo said that, “this is one match we have been waiting for and we want to give it to our teeming fans who have been with us through thick and thin, the Management and most importantly the State Government who has been our backbone”.
He added that, “Right from the kick off of the Season, I have made it clear that I want to stabilize the team and finish the league among the first ten because I have noticed that for the past two to three seasons, Wikki Tourists always battled hard to escape relegation and a win against Katsina United tomorrow will guarantee that stability”.
The Coach while thanking God for seeing us through the season also solicit for support and prayers to the team for Victory tomorrow.
Wikki Tourists FC is 12th position on the log with 49 points,while Katsina United sits on the 15th position with 48 points.
