The official cars presented to the traditional rulers in Bogoro LG

The Executive Chairman of Bogoro Local Government Area in Bauchi state, Hon Iliya Habila has presented official cars to the three most senior traditional rulers in the area urging them to ensure that their subjects live peacefully.
Iliya Habila while handling over the cars to the traditional rulers said that the gesture was to appreciate the role of the royal fathers in promoting peaceful coexistence among the various communities in the area irrespective of religious differences.
He also acknowledged their contributions to peace and security as well as mobilizing their subjects towards the development and harmonious coexistence in the area over the years.
The Council Chairman further explained that the traditional rulers had shown consistent efforts in maintaining peace especially the relationship between farmers and herders, youths restiveness and crimes control in their respective domains.
He however charged them to be rededicated to their fatherly roles as well as give their subjects the right direction for peace, progress and development urging the people of Bogoro LGA to tighten the local security network in the area.

He however appealed to traditional rulers to stop receiving strangers into their domains without proper checking out their identity and antecedents in order not to harbour criminals who will turn against them.
He also used the occasion to thank Bauchi State Governor, Sen Bala Mohamed Abdulkadir for providing the funds to execute projects in the local government area.
According to him some of the projects included drilling of new boreholes in Maryam Giji, Kijim Boi, Murai, purchase of piece of land for new animal market in Kalambu junction.
Others include renovation of blocks of classrooms in Gyara, Molmol, Gizaki and vingim and Bazanshi.
In his good will message, the member representing Bogoro Constituency in the State House of Assembly, Hon Musa Wakili Nakwada congratulated the beneficiaries pointing out that the Council Chairman has done the right thing.
Hon Musa wakili Nakwada enjoined the people of Bogoro to vote for PDP n the forthcoming general elections for more dividends of democracy.
The Village Head of Bogoro, Mr Nuhu Tafida on behalf of other traditional leaders thanked the Chairman, his council members and the management for the gesture as contained in a statement by Gomna James, Information Officer, Bogoro Local Government Area.
