Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission, Executive Secretary commends pilgrims on good conduct

The Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission, (NCPC), Rev. Dr Yakubu Pam has commended pilgrms on good conduct as they are on Pilgrmage to Israel and Jordan.

He made this statement recently during the JP ceremony of pilgrms which held at Amman, Jordan.

Rev.Pam who was respresented by the NCPC Director of Mobilization, Mr. Christian Udegbunam, commended the fourth batch of pilgrims for being good ambassadors of Christ and Nigeria .

He also commended the State Chairmen
and Secretaries for their humility during the pilgrimage exercise, According to him,” history has been made by the Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission.
He further reiterated that “we are privileged to be among the first set of pilgrims to make history while embarking on pilgrimage to both Israel and Jordan”.

Also speaking at the event, His Royal Majesty, Ogunsanwo Olukayode, Oba Onilara Of Ilara expressed his appreciation to God for his mercies and the privilege to have such experience so far. According to him,” we give God all the praise that we are able to come, see and conquer”.
He explained that pilgrimage to the Holy land is not a jamboree but a spiritual exercise.

The Chairman, Edo State Pilgrims Welfare Board and Chairman of Christian Association of Nigeria, Edo state, Bishop Oriname Oyonude Kure in his good will message, commended the Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission for his vision.

In his words, “we are grateful to the able Executive Secretary of NCPC Rev. Dr Yakubu Pam for being a visionary man”.

He explained that pilgrimage was in a deep darkness due to the COVID 19 pandemic but for the innovation of the Executive Secretary of NCPC, he was able to revive it.

He appreciated all the state governors for their support towards pilgrimage in Nigeria.

The fourth batch of pilgrims comprised those from Lagos, Oyo, Ogun, Ekiti, Osun and Edo states.
