The members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) South-South ward-to-ward campaign group led by Ada Fedrick Okwori, today paid a solidarity visit to His Excellency Alhaji Atiku Abubakar in Abuja.
Speaking at the occasion, a member of the delegation, Hon. Onoge Tamuno said the group has implicit confidence in the ability of the former vice-president of the country to run, rescue and redirect the country on the path of peace, unity and progress noting that Atiku was the leader of the economic team in the past that reposition the economy for growth and development.
In the same vein, another member of the delegation recognized the Wazirin Adamawa as a team player who has made enormous commitment towards the growth of democracy in Nigeria.
Members of the team unanimously passed a vote of confidence on the PDP flag bearer pledging their loyalty and support for his candidature in the upcoming presidential election in 2023, saying that they have made enough mobilization and sensitization to deliver at the grassroots level.
On his part, the PDP presidential candidate welcomed members of the delegation and thanked them for coming and charged them to work to ensure the party’s victory in 2023 polls to ensure a better tomorrow for the country.
