Senator Aishatu Dahiru Ahmed Biñani was allegedly bared from using government facility for empowering and distribution of N20,000 to over 1000 women in Adamawa state.
The empowerment is in compliance with the federal government Cash Grant program for women and vulnerable facilited by Sen Aishatu Biñani which commenced recently the payments of N20,000 cash empowerment to over 1000 women and vulnerable in the state.
The coordinator, Sen Aishatu Dahiru Ahmed Binani empowerment program Safwan Abdallah revealed this during the payments at the venue, Women Development Center Yola before they were stopped.
Abdallah said, the program was aimed at empowering over 1000 women and vulnerable in every nook and cranny of the 21 local government areas of the state.
According to him, the empowerment was facilitated by Senator of Adamawa Central senatorial zone so as to improve the people socially and economilly self reliance.
He expressed dissatisfaction over the conduct of the state government for locking the venue of the program, aimed at sabotaged the efforts of the Distinguish Sanator Binani for making women and vulnerable to be self reliance.
Abdallah accordingly assured the general public and the beneficiaries of the continued support and assistance of Sen Aishatu Binani.
The entire good people of Adamawa state have been advised to support Aishatu Binani during the 2023 general election for the overall interest of the state.
In a response, the chief press secretary to Gov Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, Humwashi Wunosikau said as a government of the people we have no time to condemn so law to deprive anything empower to the people of Adamawa and more over the said Women Development Center is not under government house.
