Fellow, Nigerian Academy of Letters: Dignitaries honour Professor Ochefu at reception in Abuja

Members of the academia including past and present Vice Chancellors, heads of other tertiary institutions, captains of industries, family members, friends and well-wishers gathered in Abuja for a reception in honour of the Secretary-General of the Committee of Vice Chancellors of Nigerian University (CVC), Professor Yakubu Aboki Ochefu who was recently conferred Fellow of the Nigerian Academy of Letters (NAL).
The reception on Sunday saw dignitaries exchange banters and spoke in the academic exploits of Professor Ochefu who held many academic positions including being the Vice Chancellor of Kwararafa University, Wukari in Taraba State.


Professor Ochefu he is the first Benue-State academic to bag such and the 7th Northern Nigeria to be honoured.
Speaking to at the reception, Founder and CEO of TRAVSI NGO, Gadafi Asemanya congratulated his mentor and boss for the milestone.
He prayed that God in his infinite mercy protect and guide Professor Ochefu to do more for his seniors, junior colleagues and humanity in general.
Professor Ochefu is also a Director of TRAVSI NGO.
He equally thanked guests and dignitaries that find time out despite their tight schedules to come and felicitate with his boss.
Asemanya is also Chief of Staff to Professor Ochefu.
