Care Best Initiative seeks synergy with Bauchi Environmental Protection Agency

In a move to form a formidable collaboration towards achieving a desired results in their activities in the state, the Executive Director of a Non Governmental Organisation, Care Best Initiative (CBI) has called for stronger synergy with the Bauchi State Environmental Protection Agency (BASEPA) in the areas of environmental sanitation.

The Executive Director of CBI,  Rejoice Mark made the call while interacting with the Director General of the Bauchi State Environmental Protection Agency (BASEPA). Dr Ibrahim Kabir during a courtesy visit today in his office.

Speaking during the visit, the Executive Director of the organisation, Mrs Rejoice Mark said that CBI is a women and Youths led organisation and they are in the State to carry out some activities in the areas of environmental sanitation and consider BASEPA as an important stakeholder to collaborate and work in synergy.

Mrs Rejoice who described the relationship between CBI and BASEPA as cordial, added that it will no doubt add value to the two organisations and promised to work hand in hand with all the relevant stakeholders in the state towards achieving a clean and safer environment.

The Executive Director of CBI was accompanied on the courtesy visit by the State Coordinator, Stephen Bako and Head of Operations of the organisation, and Ezekiel Musa. 

While responding, the Director General Dr Ibrahim Kabir who acknowledged the commitment of the organisation towards a clean environment assured his Agency’s readiness to work with them symbiotically in that direction.

The Director General added that BASEPA as a responsible Agency of all environmental issues in the state is ready to work with any organisation on various capacities and pledged to provide the organisation with an enabling environment to assiduously carry out it’s activities for the overall interests of the the State.

He also commended the organisation for the visit and promised to engage them in all areas that require their contributions as a key and relevant stakeholder in the environmental sector.

The Director, Admin and Human Resources Hajiya Rukayya Muhammad and Sanitarian Mohammed Usman Sale Director, Inspection, Enforcement and Compliance of the Agency assure the leadership of the organisation that the Agency is ever ready to support them towards contributing their quota to the development of the State.

CBI Is a growing woman-led and youth -driven National Non-Governmental organisation operating in the BAY States of Borno, Adamawa and Yobe States of North East in the areas of saving lives, alleviate the suffering of Children, women and other vulnerable people and also work towards maintaining human dignity during or aftermath of man made crises or natural disasters.

The organisation is also working in Zamfara, Sokoto and Kebbi with funding from the National Humanitarian Fund (NHF) as contained in a statement by Isyaka Laminu Badamasi, SA Media to DG BASEPA.
