Police College, Wudil, Commandant visits Bauchi credentials screening center, commends team, assures applicants of fairness

The commandant Nigeria Police Academy Wudil-Kano, AIG Abdulrahman Ahmad on Wednesday was at state headquarters, Bauchi state Police Command where automated physical and credential screening for the 9th regular course of Nigeria police academy is taking place.

During the visit, the Commandant commended the screening team headed by the Commissioner of Police CP Jimwan David Dazong and charged them to professionally execute their mandate without fear or favour.
 In his word, the Commandant said that, ‘’we have to bring people that are trainable, competent and can fix in whatever challenges that will come in the future”.

While addressing the applicants, the Commandant reiterated his commitment to ensuring fair and transparent admission which will be based on merit in accordance with the Federal Character provisions.

He stressed that the applicants have made the right decision in choosing Police Force as a career. 

He equally advised the applicants to have good intentions and clear their mind from beholding wealth before joining the job. In his word, he said, “police is not a place where you will be wealthy”. 

The Commandant was received by the Command’s management team and other senior officers of the Command. 




So far 130 applicants have been uploaded while 293 applicants have been screened .
