The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Presidential candidate in the forthcoming general elections Atiku Abubakar participated in the 1st National Peace Accord, organized by the National Peace Committee, headed by the former Head of State, General Abdulsalami Abubakar, in Abuja.
As the electioneering campaigns have commenced, the Chairman of the Peace Accord admonished all the Presidential Candidates on the importance of conducting themselves in a manner that will defend Nigeria and uphold her unity and progress.
The event which was streamed live via different online media platforms had in attendance the INEC Chairman, Prof Mahmood Yakubu, the Sultan of Sokoto, His Eminence Alhaji Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar, the Catholic Bishop of Sokoto, Hassan Kukah, the Inspector General of Police Usman Alkali and the richest man in Africa, Alhaji Aliko Dangote amongst others.
