Chairman, Media Trust Group, Malam Kabiru Yusuf
Media organizations have been challenged to be creative and key into the digital world to remain in business and serve the citizens better.
The chairman Media Trust Group of Daily Trust Newspapers, Malam Kabiru Yusuf made the remark while delivering a paper on the leadership and management: Lessons for media management at a three-day media management and entrepreneurship workshop organized by Daily Trust Foundation held in Abuja.
According to him, being innovative and forming the right team would not only enable their organizations to remain afloat but also improve their economic status to overcome evolving challenges.
Malam Yusuf stressed the need for media managers to make their employees have a sense of pride through better salary and welfare packages to aspire to higher positions.
He enjoined journalists to be dedicated and committed to excel and become better managers in the media industry.
Earlier in his opening remarks, the chairman, Daily Trust Foundation, Alhaji Bilya Bala said the foundation was committed to equipping journalists to become successful managers in various aspect of media landscape.
