Ozubulu Community in Ekwusigo local government area of Anambra has been thrown into sorrow following the death of a family of six that died after having dinner an evening before .
The man, Mr. Augustine Nwokedi, his wife and four children died at night and the bodies of the deceased were said to have been discovered in their apartment by neighbours.
According to a villager who spoke to reporters” we know the family very well and there was no report about any of them being I’ll and there was no sign of anything like death”
“It was in the morning when we did not feel their presence that people around started asking questions and they went to the house and everywhere was locked up and they forced the door open only to discover their lifeless bodies including the little child that is about three years” he lamented.
Though the source said the family was suspected to have died of food poisoning, this has not been confirmed.
The deceased children, three boys and a girl were between the ages of three and 12 years old.
While the man was aged 41 years old, his wife, Mrs. Josephine was aged 39 at the time of their death.
Meanwhile, the deceased family has been slated for burial on November, 29 this year.
