Former Nasarawa Governor, Al-Makura charges APC-ICC to sensitize support groups, NGOs to woo votes for Tinubu/Shettima

Senator Umaru Tanko Al-Makura has disclosed that the Nigeria electorates should vote the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, (APC) Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu because of his sterling legacies.
He made the disclosure at the maiden meeting of the Tinubu/Shettima Grassroots Independent Campaign Council, (ICC) Support Groups and NGOs Directorate at Barcelona Hotel, Abuja on Thursday.
According to him, “The APC-ICC Support Groups and NGOs is poised to continue sensitizing electorates at the grassroots to vote for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu because of his legacies which are known to our stakeholders, the opposition, people in the grassroots and beyond.
“Some of the legacies are: grassroots, human, economic, social and political developments, despite many obstacles from the opposition when he was the Executive Governor of Lagos State.
” I want stakeholders of this directorate who have vast experience in their chosen political field for years to plan and deliver our presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his running mate Senator Kashim Shettima Mustapha.
“The legacies of Tinubu’s running mate, Senator Kashim Mustapha is also a campaign tool as it is on records his laudable legacies when he was the Executive Governor of Borno State.
“I want all the support groups as Tinubu Support Group, TSG, 774 amongst others to work very hard for the success of our Presidential candidate during the general elections.” Said Senator Umaru Tanko Al-Makura.
In his speech, Senator Abu Ibrahim said, “The essence of the directorate of support groups and NGOs in ICC is to coordinate our teeming voters, comprising of youths and women to vote for Tinubu/Shettima and APC candidates.

“We are saddled with a very important assignment of canvassing for vote from the very good electorate of Nigeria in this democratic setting,” he said.
In his speech, National Coordinator of ICC, Honourable Ali Silas Agara said, ” APC is poised to improve the life of the citizenry through peaceful democratic process for the growth and development of Nigeria.
“I am calling on all our stakeholders to continue striving towards the victory of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his running mate, Senator Kashim Shettima,” he said.
The support groups and NGOs Committee meeting was attended by Umar Ibrahim Mohammed; Alhaji Zakari Jiwa; Hon Musa Sarkin Adar; Hajiya Safaa Adam; Hajiya Amina Indala; Mohammed Marafa; Dominic Alancha; Mrs Iyaloja Tinubu; Makpa Malla; Barr Mohammed Allakayi and Alhaji Aliyu Bello
Others are Felix Ejiga, Zakari Jiya, Yetunde Adeniji, Amb Lawal Saulawa, Alhaji Adamu Lafia amongst others.
