Barrister Safiya Balarabe, Deputy Director (Legal) with the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, has bagged award of selfless service for contributing positively to the growth of the law profession and humanity in general.
It would be reported that the Nigeria Bar Association ( NBA) Lafia Branch, has organized dinner and award night to honour personalities that have distinguished themselves and contributed positively to the development of the association, humanity and the society at large.
Barrister Safiya while speaking with newsmen over the award today in Lafia said she has dedicated the award to her parents, who sponsored her education and made her to be where she is today.
“I want to dedicate this award to my parents who made me where I am today.
“I also want to assure NBA of my continous determination to contribute positively to the development of the law profession, humanity and the society at large.
“I dedicate the award to my parents”.
The deputy director assured that she would not relent in her effort in making the association remain one of the best associations in the state.
Among those, who bagged the award of excellence for contributing positively to the development of the legal profession and the the society at large include Gov. Abdullahi Sule, Barr. Abigail Waya the Acting Head of Service among other twelve personalities that received the awards.
