Nigeria’s Presidential Chief of Staff, Kyari

My worry about President Buhari’s Chief of Staff, Abba Kyari is that no one of those constituting nuisance for the country has any political or electoral value.
The tragedy is that neither Abba Kyari, nor Mamman Daura, nor Mohammed Monguno, nor Samaila Isa Funtua or any one single member of the so-called cabal is electable. I doubt if any of them can win a local government Chairmanship seat entirely on his own political worth.
Why the President surrounds himself with these self serving nitwits is what beggars belief. And since it is not in the character of the President to fire underperforming or overrated surbodinates, we have to make do with the cocktail of misfits in the corridors of power.
Buhari’s rigidity as a Military leader has served us well, but I doubt if it has proved so now.
