Abubakar Tatari Ali Polytechnic Bauchi Alumni charged to join hands for growth, development

Members of the Alumni of the Bauchi State-owned Abubakar Tatari Ali Polytechnic (ATAP Poly) have been charged to join hands in order to promote and develop the institution.
The charge was made by the Interim National President of the Alumni, Prince Mohammed Sani Hassan in a statement jointly signed preparatory to the first General Assembly Congress of the Alumni coming up on March 30, 2024 at the premises of Abubakar Tatari Ali Polytechnic, Bauchi.
According to him, “It’s no longer news that over the years, the institution have produced seasoned Administrators , Academics, heads of boards, agencies, political office holders, Barristers and many more, who are members of this Alumni.”
Hassan stressed that, “We will join hands together to promote and develop our institution. That is the only thing we can do to ensure the development and growth of our academic foundation.”
The Interim National President said that, “ATAPOLY Alumni is not an exception to the lofty aims and objectives in contributing to the development of the instruction. Hence it’s our collective responsibilities as a matter of urgency, to work out deliberate and conscious steps for the actualization of this onerous task.”
He said that,”Indeed, we have leading leaders, men and women of honor, intergrity, selfless, candor and charisma in our alumnite nationally and internationally . We appreciate the contributions of our Rector, Dr Hashimu Sabo Bello for his support and contributions.”
On his own, the Interim National Secretary of the Alumni, Comrade Umar Ahmed Arabi, said the membership of the Alumni cut across all strata of life as most of the members are holding important and sensitive positions wherever they are.
He assured that members will do everything humanly possible to contribute positively to the growth and development of the institution which he said, built them up what each and everyone of them are now.
The National Secretary, commended the present management of the institution for the great work it is doing both academically and structurally to make the institution one of the best in the country.
He then assured that the planing for the Congress in March, 2024 is going on smoothly with the hope of having a successful coming together for the progress of the institution.
Abubakar Tatari Ali Polytechnic, Bauchi was established by edict No 1 of 1988 through the merger of the defunct Bauchi College of Arts (BACAS) which was established in 1976 and College of Administration, Azare.
