Abuja Chamber of Commerce, Industry DG Jideani honoured as Most Gender Inclusive CEO
The Director General of the Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI), Mr. Agabaidu Chukwuemeka Bez Jideani, has been honoured with the award of Most Gender Inclusive Chief Executive Officer of the Year at the prestigious Nigeria’s Pride Awards 2025.
Mr. Agabaidu was celebrated alongside 24 other distinguished Nigerians at the colourful award ceremony organised by African Leadership Scorecard Magazine in collaboration with The Beauties of Nigeria TV.
Speaking during the event, Mr. Bonaventure Phillips Melah, Publisher/CEO of African Leadership Scorecard Magazine and The Beauties of Nigeria TV, said the awardees were carefully selected based on their measurable contributions to the growth and development of Nigeria, as well as the number of votes garnered during the nomination process.
“We are here to celebrate individuals who have contributed greatly to the growth and development of Nigeria. This event recognises men and women who, in their respective fields, are making a difference and shaping a better nation,” Melah noted.
Also speaking, the Chairman of the Awards Committee, General Paul (Rtd.), stressed that though Nigeria is in dire need of visionary leadership, it is important to recognise exceptional leaders and institutions already demonstrating excellence in their callings. According to him, “Celebrating these individuals is our way of encouraging them to do more as they continue to contribute positively to the nation’s development.”
Mr. Agabaidu, a distinguished human rights lawyer and governance, risk, and compliance professional, has a career spanning over two decades in law, ethics, anti-corruption, regulatory compliance, and public sector reforms. He is also a member of the Governing Council of the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC).
As DG of ACCI, he has championed private sector growth, gender inclusivity, transparency, and innovation, positioning the Chamber as a leading voice for Nigeria’s organised private sector.
Mr. Agabaidu’s recognition as the Most Gender Inclusive CEO of the Year highlights his commitment to creating opportunities for women in leadership and promoting inclusivity in business and governance.
The award further cements his reputation as a visionary leader dedicated to advancing Nigeria’s economic and social development through good governance, accountability, and inclusive policies.
