ACCI congratulates outgoing, incoming NACCIMA presidents

The President of the Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI), Chief Emeka Obegolu, SAN, PhD, on behalf of the Executive Council and members of the Chamber, has congratulated the immediate past President of the Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (NACCIMA), Otunba Dele Kelvin Oye, on the successful completion of his tenure, and also extended warm felicitations to the newly elected President, Alhaji Ibrahim Jani, on his assumption of office in June 2025.

Chief Obegolu, commended Otunba Oye for his exemplary leadership and remarkable contributions during his term as NACCIMA President. According to him, “Your tenure was distinguished by dedication, innovation, and an unwavering commitment to advancing Nigeria’s private sector. You steered the association through a dynamic period, leaving behind a strengthened institution, enhanced stakeholder engagement, and impactful advocacy outcomes. We sincerely thank you for your invaluable service to commerce and industry in Nigeria, and we look forward to continued engagements with you in other capacities.”

In his congratulatory message to Alhaji Ibrahim Jani, Chief Obegolu described his election as a testament to the confidence the business community has in his leadership, vision, and track record of promoting private sector development. He expressed confidence that Alhaji Jani’s tenure as NACCIMA President and Chairman of the Organised Private Sector of Nigeria (OPSN) will bring renewed energy and strategic direction to the association and the wider business community.

“Your emergence at this critical time promises to build on past achievements and chart a progressive path for the Nigerian private sector. The Abuja Chamber remains committed to collaborating closely with your leadership to drive policies, enterprise growth, and sustainable development across the country,” Chief Obegolu added.

The ACCI reaffirmed its commitment to supporting NACCIMA and the OPSN under the new leadership while wishing Alhaji Jani a successful and impactful tenure.
