The leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Adamawa State chapter has described the purported suspension of its Gubernatorial candidate, Senator Aishatu Dahiru Ahmed Binani as callous, unguided, diversionary and
unnecessary.
A statement by the State Secretary of the Party, Dr Raymond Chidama said such cannot emanate from members of the party and urged party members to disregard the said information.
The statement read: “The attention of the
members of the state working committee was drawn to a publication purporting suspension of the Governorship Candidate of our party, APC Distinguished Senator Aishatu Dahiru Binani.
“We want to unequivocally state that this is
unconstitutional, null and void and is of no
effect. It is callous, unguided, divisive,
diversionary and unnecessary.
“This cannot
emanate from members of our party. We urge all
faithful party members to disregard same”.
