Adamawa cases of COVID-19 rise to 17

The Adamawa State COVID-19 Containment Committee has announced that cases of COVID-19 pandemic has risen to seventeen in the state.
The Commissioner of Health, Professor Abdullahi Isa announced this during a Press Briefing in Yola at the COVID-19 Situation Room, State Secretariat, Yola.
This was contained in a statement Sunday by Muhammad B. Tukur, Senior Special Assistant on New Media to the state Governor.
Professor Isa said out of the cases six were from Mubi North, Mubi South, Yola North, Girei, Hong and Lamurde have 2 each while Yola South has one.
He declared that the committee is waiting for final test of two of the patients and they will soon be recovered and discharged back to the society.
The Commissioner added that the State COVID-19 team has visited Mubi with a view to set up isolation centre due the high cases of the virus in the area.
The Committee has also went round the state capital and observed the level of compliance of wearing facemasks and expressed happy on the way and manner people adhered to the rules.
Contributing, the Commissioner of Information and Strategy Dr. Umar Garba Pella advised people not to stigmatized those that will soon be recovered and prepare their minds and accept them.
