Adamawa commissioner Mijinyawa conferred with Diplomatic Leadership Award

Adamawa State Commissioner for Local Government Affairs, Hon. Yayaji Ibrahim Mijinyawa, has been conferred with the Icon of Diplomatic Leadership and Management Award.

The Commissioner was conferred by the Institute of Business Diplomacy and Financial Management during its 74th Mandatory Continuing Professional Development (MCPD) Programme which featured an investiture of fellowship and induction of new members in Yola.

The Institute’s lecture, themed: “Corporate Treasury Management Best Practice,” was articulated by Prof. Bashir Daneji and analyzed by Prof. Ibrahim Danjuma, both of Modibbo Adama University (MAU), Yola and Fellows of the institute.

The occasion had the Adamawa state Deputy Governor, Her Excellency Prof. Kaletapwa George Farauta, a Fellow Member of the Institute, as Special Guest of Honour, and the wife of the Governor of Adamawa State, Hajiya Lami Fintiri, also a Fellow serve as Mother of the Day.

While the newly appointed Vice Chancellor of Modibbo Adama University (MAU), Yola, Prof. Ibrahim Umar, and the Provost of College of Nursing and Midwifery (CNM), Yola, Dr. Lami Aminu, among others were invested as Fellows of the Institute.
