Adamawa Governor, Fintiri appoints Emir of Pindiga in Gombe State new Chancellor of state varsity Mubi

Adamawa State Governor,  Ahmadu Fintiri has approved the appointment of the Emir of Pindiga, HRH Alhaji Mohammed Seyoji Ahmed as the new Chancellor of the Adamawa State University (ADSU), Mubi.

In a letter signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Engr Bashiru Ahmad, the appointment is for a period time of four years with effect from 25th February, 2020.

According to the letter the Emir of Pindiga from Gombe State was given the appointment after careful consultation in recognition of his integrity, honesty and dedication to duty which has been manifested in both academics and physical achievements in the development of universities.

While congratulating him, Governor Fintiri called on him to maintain the tempo of his work to the development of the state university.

Fintiri further said the appointment is in pursuant to the provision of section six of the state university law No.10 of 2001 and the condition of his appointment as the Chancellor is contained in the scheme of service of principal officers of the Adamawa State University.
