Adamawa Governor, Fintiri donates N3m to victims of Loko fire incidence

Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Fintiri Friday pledged to assist victims of Loko Market fire incidence in Song local government with N3million to cushion their hardships and losses incurred in the inferno.
The Governor, who made the promise when he made a stop over to inspect the area on his way to Madagali, sympathised with the traders over the unfortunate incidence and pledge government assistance.
He commended the Chairman Song local government for taking immediate action to carrying out renovation of the market within a short time after the incidence and described it as timely.
Responding on behalf of traders of Loko Market, Chairman of traders union in the area Alhaji Mustafa Maisikeli saluted Governor Umaru Fintiri for his show of concern to the traders of the market.
He also thanked the Chairman of Song Local Government for renovating the affected shops and promised that traders in the market will remain loyal and supportive to the present local council council administration.
Loko Market gutted with fire around two o’clock mid-night on Thursday last week, although the cause of the incidence is yet to be ascertained but it damaged about sixteen shops in the market.
