Adamawa information commissioner welcomes new Correspondents’ Chapel leadership

Adamawa State Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Iliya James, has received the newly elected executive members of the Correspondents’ Chapel of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Adamawa State Chapter.
The courtesy visit was led by the NUJ Chairman, Ishaka Donald Dedan.
He thanked the commissioner’s unwavering support for the state council and commend him for fostering a positive relationship between the media and the government.
In a remark, the Commissioner urged journalists in the state to uphold professionalism by ensuring factual and accurate reportage.
The Commissioner encouraged media practitioners to highlight government activities and publicize its achievements responsibly.
He stressed the importance of adhering to journalistic ethics, urging reporters to verify their information before dissemination to the public.
