Late Florence Vandi

A 22-year old staff of the health department of Girei Local Government Area of Adamawa State, Florence Vandi, has died of suspected suicide.
The deceased hailed from Michika Local Government Area of the state.
Confirming the death in a statement signed by the Police image maker, SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje, the deceased was said to have consumed a liquid poisonous substance suspected to be ‘otapiyapiya’.
The statement further revealed that late health worker took such a painful decision of terminating her life few hours after the death of her heartthrob known as Nuhu Boniface after a brief illness while receiving treatment at the Hospital.
Police authorities have since commenced investigation into the incident as directed by the Commissioner of Police, Adamawa State Command, CP Afolabi Babatola.
