By Anthony Maliki, Abuja
The newly sworn in Senator representing Adamawa North Senatorial District, Rev. Amos Yohanna said he will adopt the bottom-up approach in providing legislation for his constituency.

According to him, the constituents are the ones to formulate and articulate what they desire and to be done through community engagement.

Senator Yohanna bemoaned a situation where politicians would remain in Abuja and tell people what is needed.
According to him, it is what the people need and should come from them, a style of representation he intends to deploy.
He pledged to represent the people responsibly and equity and in doing so will ensure everybody is united.
Senator Yohanna also spoke on insecurity that has ravaged Adamawa North for many years saying it has brought about poverty in the area.

On youth development, the senator noted that it was one of the focal points during his campaign and they would be properly engaged.
He said he build up youths, open opportunities for them to develop, so that they get skills exposing them to IT and AI technology so that they own it as something that benefits them.
