Adamawa Police Commissioner condemn attack on Damna community

The Adamawa State Commissioner of Police, Afolabi Babatola has condemned the recent attack on Dabna community, Dugwaba District, Hong local government
by unidentified gunmen.

Reports has that the attack led to three members of the community death while a number of properties were rampaged attackers.

According to a statement by Adamawa State Police command spokesman, SP Sulaiman Nguroje, the commissioner of police has given men of the command a swift and marching orders to trail and arrest the masterminds of the ugly incident.

“Consequently, the CP has ordered the immediate arrest and investigation into the matter with a view to ensuring peace and justice.

The CP warns that attacks on innocent souls would no longer be tolerated under whatsoever guise, as the command holds the lives of citizens sacrosanct, and such unwarranted attitude would be strictly treated in accordance with extant laws.

He equally reiterated the commitment of the Command to protect lives and property while stressing that it is vital to work with other sister security agents in protecting the fundamental rights of Citizens.

The statement added that, “The police boss appeal for calm as the command is doing everything legally possible to detect and apprehend the suspects”.
