Adamawa Police engages traditional, religious, critical stakeholders in fight against insecurity

Adamawa State Commissioner of Police, Afolabi Babatola has employed both police/community in framework to prevent nefarious activities in the state.
Babatola made this known in an extensive interactive session with critical stakeholders, community leaders, hunters/Vvgilantes leaders, representatives of grazers and farmers, in Mubi North, Mubi South, Maiha, Michika and Madagali local government areas.
In a statement signed by the state police command spokesperson, SP Suleiman Y Nguroje said there is need to embrace the already existing peace and deal with all forms of crimes in the state, so as to avoid what will go against actions and utterances that could be inimical to peace.
Babatola therefore charged all Police Officers and other law enforcement agents to act in accordance with the Standard Operational Procedures (SOP) of the force and other extant laws guiding their overall conduct.
As such, he warned that, “any police Officer found acting contrary to their oaths of office or behaving in a way and manner prejudicial to discipline will be strictly and personally held liable.”
One among the senior stakeholders, His Royal Highness, Alhaji Abubakar Ahmadu the Emir of Mubi keyed into the Command’s initiative and strategies to preventing crimes and expressed his maximum support to the laudable initiative.
In his entourage, the CP was by Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of Operations, DCP Morris Dankombo, Commander 14 PMF, Yola and other senior Police officers.
