Adamawa primary healthcare gets donation from Procter and Gamble

The Adamawa State Government Primary Healthcare has received 4,000 packs of safeguard soaps, 3,000 packs of ariel detergents and 50, 000 Pampers diapers from foremost fast-moving consumer goods company, Procter and Gamble.

The Items was mediated, facilitated and received by the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Primary Healthcare Services, Dr Aminu Aliyu Ismaila on behalf of the State Government.

While receiving the items, Dr Aliyu conveyed the Governor’s gratitude and assured that the items will be used solely for ”the purpose of promoting personal hygiene especially of child health and comforts of homes of front line health workers in the state”.

He also said the Governor has given a directive for the items to be distributed to all local government areas of the state.

On his part, the Manager Government Relations Nigeria and Africa Expansion Markets, Mr Ridwan Sorunke, expressed the company’s ”delight to be able to support the efforts of the Adamawa State Government to curtail the spread of COVID-19”.
