Adamawa Rep Babazango empowers 120 women with sewing, grinding machines, cash

A Member of the House of Representatives, Hon Abubakar Babazango has empowered no fewer than 120 women with sewing and grinding machines and N50,000.

Babazango representing Yola South/Yola North/Girei Federal Constituency of Adamawa State made the gesture to cushion their hardship.

The gesture in collaboration with the Federal Cooperative College, Orji River, Enugu State, is designed to empower Adamawa women who are artisans for the 2024 project year.

The all-inclusive gesture took at the Capital School in Jimeta, Yola North Local Government Area where women came out in their numbers.

Hon. Babazango pledged there’s going to be another mega empowerment coming out in a sooner date that will involve men, women, youth, and the less privileged.

A beneficiary, Maryam Abdullahi from Yola South commended Babazago’s gesture and the foresight in other to support especially the less privileged at this crucial time.
