Senator representing Adamawa Central Senatorial District, Senator Aishatu
Ahmed Dahiru Binani has empowered and distributed not fewer than 6500 items to the youths and women in her constituency.
The exercise took place at Yola, Yola South Local Government Area of the state where the distribution cut across all her constituency.
The items distributed are 6000 bags of
fertilizers and 500 grinding machines which were distributed directly to the beneficiaries.
Speaking during the programme, the Senator said, the distribution is to empower and boost farming skills in the zone especially the less-privileged so as to discourage redundancy of
youths in her District and the state.
The Senator also assured the beneficiaries that it was time to empower the youth and women against the future so that they can be self-reliant.
