Adamawa urges interested communities for new district to summit memoranda

Adamawa State Government has invited interested communities agitating for new districts to submit their memoranda to the Office of the Permanent Secretary, Chieftaincy Affairs Department from Monday, November 11 to November 25, 2024.
In a statement by the Chief Press Secretary to Governor Ahmadu Fintiri, Humwashi Wonosikou, said the move was informed by the need to improve governance at the grassroots level.
He said, communities desirous in new Districts are eligible and free to submit their memoranda.
According to the statement, Adamawa State Government’s call for memorandum is part of efforts to improve governance and administration at the local level.
