Nigeria will lock horns with Burundi, Madagascar and Guinea in the Group Stage of this year’s African Cup of Nations (AFCON) holding in Egypt from 21 June to 19 July at a draw held at Giza, Egypt Friday night. Nigeria is in Group B.
At the lavish gala, in Group A Egypt will face DR Congo, Uganda, Zimbabwe. Group C sees Senegal playing Algeria, Kenya, and Tanzania while Group D has Morocco, Ivory Cost, South Africa and Namibia.
In the event monitored by Apex News, in Group E Tunisia plays Mali, Mauritania, Angola while Cameroon, Ghana, Benin, Guinea-Bissau are in Group F. For the first time 24 teams will be taking part in the soccer fiesta.
