African Aviation University donates bags of grain to Sabon Iddo community, Abuja

The African Aviation and Aerospace University, (AAAU) Abuja has donated bags of grain to Sabon Iddo, its host community on Wednesday.
Registrar of the University, Mustapha Sheikh Abdullahi said at the event that, this is part of AAAU’s Corporate Social Responsibility, (CSR) to Sabon Iddo, its host community near the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja.
According to him, “This is part of my team’s ongoing commitment to community welfare, enriching the town’s people and fostering good relationship.
“We are donating bags of Guinea corn to the Sabon Iddo community. This gesture follows the university’s earlier initiative to compensate farmers whose lands were impacted by construction at its permanent site.”

Mustapha Sheikh Abdullahi said that in line with AAAU’s CSR to uplift local residents, the university reached out to assist farmers who were nearing harvest when their crops were affected. This donation of Guinea corn symbolises our dedication to support the community.

presented ten bags of Guinea corn to the Sarki of Sabon Iddo, High Chief Yakubu Alkali, for distribution to the affected farmers.

In his remarks, the traditional ruler of the community, Sarki of Sabon Iddo, High Chief Yakubu Alkali thanks the management of the University for the kind gesture.
