Air Peace says no plans to use Port Harcourt airport to Dubai

Air Peace has debunked claims that it planned to operate from Port Harcourt International Airport, Omagwa, Rivers State to Dubai and Sharjah in the United Arab Emirate (UAE).
There were rumours that the airline will operate to the UAE from the Murtala Mohammed International Airport, Lagos.
The airline, on Tuesday in Lagos, dismissed such rumours of using the Port Harcourt airport.
In a statement by Air Peace Corporate Communications Manager, Mr Chris Iwarah, the Lagos airport was more appropriate for its international flight operations.
According to the statement, its long-haul flight services to Dubai, Sharjah, London, Houston, Guangzhou-China, Mumbai and Johannesburg were nearing conclusion.
