Lawmakers representing Jema’a/Sanga Federal Constituency, Dan Amos and Kaduna State House of Assembly, Jema’a Local Government, Ali Kalat assured constituents of quality representation.
The duo stated this when they led PDP stakeholders and party faithfuls on a ‘Thank You Visit’ to the 3 Zones of Jama’a Local Government Area; Godogodo, Gwong and Central (Kafanchan) on Thursday.
In his speech, Hon. Dan Amos, who was a former Executive Chairman, Jema’a Local Government Area promised to be fair to all.
“We are going to start sponsoring bills for the development of our country. For my constituents, as part of our campaign promises, i will start bringing developmental and empowerment projects with women and youth inclusiveness.”
He said, as legislators, they are going to collaborate with the executives both at the state and federal level so as to bring more projects to their communities.
Dan also visited all the zones in Sanga Local Government Area as part of the ‘Thank You Tour’.
In his speech, Rt. Hon. Ali Kalat, who was also a former Council Chairman of Jema’a local government, thanked God for been victorious despite the challenges they faced in the last general election.
Ali, who is the Minority Leader at the Kaduna State House of Assembly said even as a legislator whose work is to sponsored bills and create laws, he is going to lobby his colleagues as well as the executives to bring infrastructural developments and many more to his constituency.
He noted that the major duties of any lawmakers are to represent and be the voice of his constituents; lobby for projects for his constituency, perform oversight functions through committees.
Both the party and the stakeholder’s Chairmen of PDP in the Local Government, Nathaniel Bawa and Edward Percy Masha took turn to eulogize the lawmaker’s leadership qualities.
They also called on party faithfuls and well wishers to remain resolute in their choice of PDP as both members are going to delivered their promises.
“We are assuring you that these people are not going to fail the electorates, they have the mind and the experience, everybody should have the impact of the elected members, but all what we need from the electorates is their support and prayers.”
They thanked the supporters and admirers for standing by their side throughout the turbulent period of campaigns and elections.
