Anambra 2025: APC appoints Ikedife Jnr DG Campaign Council, vows to win election

The Anambra State chapter of All Progressives Congress (APC), has appointed the son of late Chief Dozie Ikedife, former President- General of Ohaneze Ndigbo, Dozie Ikedife Jnr, the Director -General of Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu -Uche Ekwunife Campaign Council for the November 8 Governorship election.
Inaugurating the council, the National Vice-chairman of the party, South East , Chief Arodigbu Ijeoma, urged the members of the council to go for outright victory.
Chief Ijeoma said they need victory not story in the November 8, Governorship election, stressing that they were carefully selected for the job.
The National Vice-chairman of the party said President Ahmed Bola Tinubu, the National chairman and other stakeholders of the party were solidly behind the ticket of Ukachukwu and Ekwunife.
Speaking at the inauguration, the Governorship candidate, Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu said that entering Government House , Awka was possible, urging his supporters that what they had to do was to work harder.
“We have been working hard. We need to work harder.Faith without work is dead . We have good plans for Anambra State” said Ukachukwu.
He mentioned agricultural chain revolution, making industries work, providing security, electricity, portable water as those things he would do for the people if elected Governor of Anambra State come November 8.
Stating that he would declare State of emergency on Anambra State especially on security, Ukachukwu said: ” We already know what to do”, accusing: Soludo: ” of using Anambrarians as guinea pigs”.
The Guber candidate said the National Campaign Council would be inaugurated in the next two weeks when the Vice-president of the country would flag -off the campaign.
The Deputy Gubernatorial candidate, Senator Uche Ekwunife, in her speech said they have the right intention to take over Anambra State and the best time is now , according to her,: “the time to do that is now’.
The State chairman of the party, Chief Basil Ejidike, said after this inauguration there would be subsequent ones at the zones, Local Governments, wards and polling units.
He said they were disappointed with the last bye-election, assuring that never again would such happen.
