Anambra 2025: APC guber candidate, Prince Ukachukwu restates commitment to uplift Anambra communities, donates N100m to Church

The All Progressives Congress (APC) gubernatorial candidate for the November 8,2025 governorship election in Anambra State, Prince Dr. Nicholas Ukachukwu, has restated his commitment in uplifting communities in the state through faith based organisations and social interventions if elected.
Dr. Ukachukwu who spoke during the Homage of the All Saints Anglican Church Cathedral,Diocese On the Niger, Onitsha, Anambra State also called for the unity and collective efforts in advancing the welfare of the people in the state.
Prince Ukachukwu who donated a whopping hundred million naira (N100m), described the donation as a token of his gratitude to God and his desire to support the great work being done by the church.
In his speech the Bishop on the Niger, Rt. Rev. Dr. Owen Nwokolo, expressed profound gratitude to Ukachukwu for the donation, assuring that the money would significantly enhance their capacity to serve the spiritual and physical needs of the congregation and the larger Onitsha society.
Bishop Nwokolo called on public spirited individuals to emulate the gesture of Prince Ukachukwu by donating to church projects.
The governorship candidate was accompanied in that event by top members of APC in the State. They are Prof Nnamdi Umeh, Hon. Ikem Uzoezie, Chief Basil Ejidike, the chairman of the party in the State, Sir Arinze Awogu, National Coordinator of Ikemba Front, Mr. Azuka Okwuosa, Chief Maria Ojielo, Hon. Chidiebele Orjika among others.
The high point of the event was when the priests in a heartfelt gesture, offered special prayers for Ukachukwu, seeking divine blessings for his gubernatorial ambition and leadership in fostering community development.
