Anambra 2025: Ochiogu assures traders’ support for Governor Soludo, leads large contingent to endorsement event

The chairman of Organising Committee of Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s November 8, 2025 Governorship Endorsement last Saturday, Chief Ndubuisi Ochiogu, has assured that traders of Anambra State who constitute 70 percent of State voting population would massively vote Governor Soludo on November 8, this year.
Chief Ochiogu who doubles as the Chairman of all the Chairmen promised that the endorsement which held at Justice Chuba Ikpeazu Stadium in Onitsha was a celebration of Soludo’s first tenure achievements and his re-election bid.
Speaking in his assessment of the event he affirmed that they would work for his victory on November 8 as a way of paying him back for transformation he brought to Ndi Anambra in general and traders in particular, describing Soludo as a “God sent Governor for Ndi Anambra”.
Ochiogu proved unimaginable capacity to lead traders as he attracted overwhelming support from Ogbaru Local Government Area Chairman, Hon. Sir. Kenneth Akwuobi who accompanied him to the event.
Other critical stakeholders in Ochiogu’s entourage included, Chairman, Ogbaru Local Government of APGA, ward Chairmen, Councillors, APGA Party stakeholders, and Members, Various support groups, Youths, about five different cultural dance groups including Ogene dance troup.
Ochiogu on his own donated five huge fresh fish to Governor Soludo during the ocassion in appreciation of what he has done for the traders.
Soludo in his speech among other things reassured traders that the state government under his watch would continue to partner with them for the continuous transformation of the state.
He said that he is been intentional in his push for a recreated and regenerated Anambra when he sought to become the Governor, assuring that he would not lose will focus
He reiterated that petty traders, barrow pushers, hawkers among other low income earners in the state have been exempted from paying taxes and daily tolls in the state.
Soludo meanwhile charged the traders to remain vigilant while maintaining the values of hard work and enterprises as opposed to the get-rich-quick syndrome leading some youths into Okeite and yahoo boys syndrome
The traders praised the establishment of Agunechemba and Udogachi security outfits whose activities in conjunction with other security agencies have helped in restoring sanity in the state with consequent boom in economic activities.
“We have agreed unanimously that Soludo is our candidate and nobody else. Traders will suffer in Anambra state if Soludo is not re-elected come November 8, 2025 is a done deal for us” they chorused.
