A former member of House of Representatives, Chief Peter Madubueze, has described the nearly two decades of All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) control of the Anambra State governorship as a huge waste.
Chief Madubueze, who represented Anambra East and West Federal Constituency in the green chamber made the assertion at Umueze-Anam, while addressing members of All Progressives Congress (APC) during the Local Government tour of Anambra West by the flag-bearer of the party, Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu in November 8, 2025 election.
Madubueze, one of the key stakeholders from the area who graced the “thank you” tour of the governorship candidate lamented bitterly about the deplorable situation of their area under APGA.
Madubueze while assuring the APC and her candidate of their bloc votes, regretted that their many years of support for APGA and its governorship candidates had been a complete disaster characterized by huge political deceit.
He expressed personal dissatisfaction with the development and saw it as a huge disappointment stressing that other parties especially the ruling APGA only remembered them in the Local Government only during electioneering.
He therefore insisted that things must change this time with Prince Ukachukwu in the saddle.
The Lawmaker stated that they have now shifted attention in favour of the APC because of Ukachukwu and his running mate, Senator Uche Ekwunife.
He also described Ekwunife as an awesome political bulldozer who would compliment the sagacity of Ukachukwu to record a sweeping landslide in the Nov 8,2025 election in Anambra State, especially in Anambra West.
Ukachukwu, popularly called Ikukuoma in a brief remark vouched to run an open door administration for the benefit of all citizens.
