Anambra Commerce commissioner tasks traders on civic responsibilities to attract more govt interventions

The Anambra State Commissioner for Trade and Commerce, Mr. Christian Mmadubuko, has restated the state government’s commitment to creating an enabling environment for all types of businesses to thrive in the State.
He made this known when he visited Stockfish International Market Onitsha at Owerri Road, Anambra State.
He charged the traders to always be of good conduct in their daily transactions as well as keep to all the laws guiding markets in the state.

Mr. Mmadubuko assured the traders that government will continue to provide basic social amenities to the market.
The Commissioner urged them to always pay their taxes and levies to enable the government do more for them and the state at large.
Earlier, the President of the market, Mr. Celestine Ezewuru, thanked the Commissioner for the visit and appealed to the state government to help them fill empty lock up shops by bringing in more traders and to include the market among those benefiting from the state’s financial interventions to all the  markets.
