The Executive Secretary, Anambra State Health Insurance Agency, Dr. Simeon Onyemaechi has assured that the agency will continue to serve the beneficiaries of the programme efficiently and effectively.
Dr. Onyemaechi, who made this known while speaking to newsmen in Awka, urged enrollees of the programme to always call the twenty-four hours customer service line of the agency, which is 08021810222 to report any unwholesome attitude for them to be served better.
Dr. Onyemaechi appealed to the beneficiaries of the scheme not to collude with hospitals who might be deceiving them in order to extort money from them.
He warned that the agency is well prepared to sanction any hospital found guilty of going against the working guidelines given to them.
The ASHIA boss, who noted that Ndi Anambra and other residents of Anambra State are enjoying the scheme, described ASHIA as one of the greatest legacies, the Obiano administration will leave behind at the expiration of his tenure.
With N1000 a month and N12,000 a year, one can be enrolled into the Anambra State Health Insurance Scheme to enjoy the huge health benefits it attracts.
