Anambra Governor Soludo loses father

The President of Ogbaru Main Market in Anambra State, Chief Ndubuisi Ochiogu, has described the late Chief Nwankwo Soludo, the father of Governor Chukwuma Soludo as “a hero and good man”.
Chief Ochiogu who spoke in his condolence message to the Governor on the death of his father said “the man was a hero who beget a hero”.
He said if Soludo’s father was not a good man and a hero, he would not have born somebody of Prof. Soludo’s stature who today is the Governor of Anambra State.
Ochiogu said for the man to have waited to die at this time when his son is the Governor of Anambra State is a clear indication that he was a great man who loved life and lived it to the fullest.
He assured that the traders of Ogbaru Main Market, indeed the entire traders in the State will join Anambra State and Nigeria to mourn and give Pa Soludo a befitting burial he deserves.
He said Governor Soludo is their Messiah and they have no option than to join him to pay the last respect to his father when he fixes the date.
Ochiogu asked Governor Soludo take solace in the fact that his father lived long and good life as well as left a worthy successor in him.
In the same vein, the Vice Chairman of Ogbaru Main Market,Chief Paulinus Ikechukwu, said they shared in the grief of the Governor over the demise of his father.
He said Pa Soludo was a man of peace and his departure would bring peace to the entire State.
